Technical Writer

Reports to: Head of Marketing

Position type: Full-time

  • Persons residing in the United States with the proper work authorization, will be hired as employees.
  • Persons residing outside the United States will be considered for hiring as independent contractors.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with technical teams to understand all requirements.
  2. Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write technical specifications, and process documentation.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

  1. Two or more years of experience as an effective technical writer
  2. Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
  3. Experience in writing deep technical documentation
  4. Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  5. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  6. Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or communication.
  7. Firm understanding of software development life cycle.
  8. Previous experience in software development.
